Boxy Charm January 2016 Review
Hey guys! After trying out everything in my Boxy Charm, I decided to give you a review! I will be posting a tutorial of me using everything in this month's box on my channel probably tomorrow. So let's get started!
This month's box's theme was Eyes on 2016 and had four items, compared to the usual five.
1. Coastal Scents Revealed Smoky Palette, $39.95 on sale for $19.95
This is compared to the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette. UD is on top.
While swatching these shadows, they seemed great. They had great pigmentation. However, when I put them on the eyes, they had a lot of fall out, and didn't last the whole day. I rated these a 3/5.
2. Royal and Langnickel Brush Set, $23.97
I was very excited to receive brushes this month. I received a Royal and Langnickel brush from IPSY a while ago and use it so often. These brushes are so soft and work so well. I will definitely be using them frequently. I rated these a 5/5.
3. Blinc Mascara Amplified, $26
I LOVE this mascara. It is a tubing mascara, so it won't smudge, or budge throughout the day. It is cry proof, waterproof, everything proof. You could literally rub your eyes and it wouldn't move. It is harder to take off than the normal mascara, because you do have to take some warm water and gently push down on your lashes, so if you have sensitive eyes, you may not like this. But, it does come off very easy still. It isn't like normal mascara where once you take it off, there is still some hanging around. This comes completely off and makes your lashes feel like new again. I am very happy with this. I rated this a 5/5.
4. Starlooks Eyeliner, $19
I love felt tip eyeliner pens. They are so easy to use to make a cat eye, and have the pigmentation of a liquid liner, without the huge mess. This one is okay. It is not my favorite (I love the Absolut New York Nano Liner and the Kat Von D Ink Liner). This did smudge very easily for me. You have to be very careful applying it because it is very messy. I rated this a 4/5.
Overall, this month's Boxy Charm was really good! While we only got 4 products, one was a brush set, so we really got 6. I was very impressed with the products, and the total value was $108.92 ($88.92 if you count that the palette is always on sale). Since it only costs $21/month, it is always a great deal, especially since everything is always full size. What did you think of your Boxy Charm this month? Let me know in the comments and be looking out for my video!

IPSY January 2016 Review!
Hey guys! So this month, I decided that instead of just showing what I got in my IPSY bag, I am going to start doing a video tutorial using everything in it, and then doing a review here! I also looked up the value of everything I got! So let's get started:
This month the theme was "All Eyes on You"
1. Lasting Smiles Organic Lip Balm, Full Size $4.99
While some may have been disappointed to receive a chapstick in their bags, I wasn't. I have perpetually dry lips, so I was excited to try a new lip balm. This one also donates money to help fund cleft lip surgeries for children. When I first put it on my lips, I could definitely taste and smell the peppermint. It is immediately moisturizing and has the feeling of really settling, not just sitting on your lips. However, like most lip balms, you do eventually need to reapply. I rated this 4/5.
2. Marsk Mineral Eyeshadow in You're Toast, Full Size $22.50
When I first opened my bag and saw this, I was thinking "great another mineral eyeshadow". Mineral eyeshadows are messy and I rarely ever use them. However, when I tried this out, I actually liked it. It has a slight sheen to it and is a really great lid color. I rated this a 4/5.
3. Tucker Ashley Advanced Peptide Eye Complex, .34 oz about $20.31
This was the only non-full sized item in this bag. I was pretty impressed with the sizes of everything. The full size of this is .5 oz and retails for $29.99. So while this was not full size, it was pretty close. I really liked this. I have been getting more into skin care lately, so I was excited to get an eye cream. This had a nice cooling sensation when I applied it, which was nice since that is such a sensitive area. I also wasn't too sensitive for it, for once. It moisturized very well. I rated this a 5/5.
4. Beau Gachis Paris Smudge Brush, full size $12 (currently on sale for $9)
I always love getting brushes, but I wasn't a huge fan of this one. While this is soft, it is very stiff. You can use it for applying your crease shade, as well as smudging, but I don't really smudge my eyeshadow. I rated this a 3/5.
5. TheBalm Mr. Write (Now) in Jac B. Bronze, Full Size $17
I was super excited for this eyeliner. I absolutely love TheBalm and this is one of their products that I haven't tried yet. This is very pigmented and long lasting. I absolutely love the color as well. I rated this 5/5.
Overall, this month's IPSY bag was really good! I'm very impressed with all of the full sized products and I can't wait of next month's bag! Be watching out for my video with my tutorial using all of these products! Also, let me know in the comments what you got in your bag!
